[INKTOBER 2017] Day 1: Wake

I swear Raven's hair gets fluffier each time I draw it.

This is perhaps the biggest piece of week one. It has the most characters so far, and is perhaps the most experimental. Besides the fact that I haven't used inking tool in ages (I tend to use pencils to line these days), the ink wash is a brand new thing for me. Unfortunately, the pages of my moleskine sketch book soak it up too fast and makes it blotchy. I may try and use it later, though. The blotchiness could be to my advantage.

Aside from trying to improve my inking skills and get more confident with the marks I put on a page (and just drawing every day), I'm also aiming to draw Raven and Wolf (and other characters from this novel universe) for each prompt. Most will be actual illustrations, some smaller ones just for fun. I hope you enjoy seeing them for a month! I'm certainly having a ball drawing them so far!
