Name Meaning: Life born of fire
Age: 20
Birthday: July 29th
Eyes: Sapphire blue, quite intense. It’s a little unnerving to be stared at by her for long periods of time.
Hair: Rusty brown/red, shoulder-blade length. Straight. She has a side fringe and wisps of hair that frame her face. Rarely left down (more often in winter than in summer), her hair is usually thrown up in a messy bun just to keep it out of the way.
Skin: Very pale with some light freckles over her nose and cheeks.
Height: 5'11” (180cm)
Weight: 149lbs (68kg)

Likes: Dancing (she is very good at ballet in particular, but she learns many other styles as well), bonfires, being an individual, surprising people, hanging out with Leon, Leon Fitzroy/Zodiac Leo, Iris Byrd/Sailor Apus (Leon and Iris are her very best friends)
Dislikes: Blending in, very cold weather, endings (she rarely ever finishes reading a book), decay of any sort, Blanche Svanhilde/Sailor Cygnus (Blanche and Zoe are extremely jealous of each other’s abilities, and it comes out as hate – verbal fights are common, hair pulling does happen occasionally)

Least Favourite Colour: A really yucky shade of dark yellow that makes her think of baby poo
Favourite Food: Anything hot and spicy, the hotter the better
Least Favourite Food: Mushrooms of any sort (Honestly, why would anyone eat anything that is closely related to mould and loves to grow in poo and on rot?)

Clothing: Her clothes are actually quite tame in comparison to her ‘rebellious’ personality. Her warm weather clothes are quite indie in style, usually dresses. In the cold weather, she loves to wear her long, brown trench coat, red scarf and converse shoes. Iris also tends to make loads of dresses for her, as she tends to do for anyone, but Zoe is by far her favourite manikin. For this reason, she has a lot more clothes than she wears.

Dream: To join a world famous ballet troupe and dance as the firebird in The Firebird ballet, winning at championships just once would be great as well. Winning against Blanche for once would be nice, too.

Personal History: Zoe was born in Cardiff, Wales, and was the only child of a doctor and a stage actress. However she only lived there for about twelve years of her life before moving to London. She was always a rather average student, and certainly had no talent for concentration. She would always get into trouble for losing focus, talking when she wasn’t supposed to and for falling asleep in class. It was also around this time when she picked up dancing, ballet first, and then more every two years after that.

There were a few kids during this time that tried to get a reaction out of her and mocked her accent, but even when she was young, she was never the type to let things like that get to her. Usually it was because she would be off with the pixies and not even notice them doing it.

Her high school life was a little more interesting. She really came into her own during this time, but her short attention span still got in the way of her studies. There was this one guy, Leon, with whom she clicked with from the very first day. He helped her pick up her grades, she was in danger of failing Year 12 completely, and probably would have done if not for his help.

Her marks allowed her to scrape in an acceptance to Oxford University where she is studying for a Bachelor of Arts. She has kept up with her dance lessons and has entered a few competitions (and lost them all to Blanche Svanhild). It is near the beginning of the new year that she discovered her identity as Sailor Phoenix, after being told by Leon during an attack by one of the many brainwashed constellations. It probably won’t help her studies.

Realm of Influence: Fire/Rebirth
Colours: Mostly scarlet/gold, but her skirt is magenta
Transformation Phrase: “Phoenix power, make-up!”
Transformation Item: A small silver star brooch with a ruby in the centre and small wings on both sides of the star. She usually wears it on her left sleeve.
Weapon: Magic feathers - gold, kept in her hair in the band around her messy bun.

Attacks
Infernal Dance: Sailor Phoenix dances around her opponent, dropping coloured feathers around them. These feathers immediately start to glow and burst into flames to engulf the enemy. There is a drawback with this; Sailor Phoenix can be hit mid-dance, halving the attack’s power. It isn’t completely effective against multiple enemies either.

Phoenix Rising: Holding her hands slightly out from her hips; she clenches her hands into fists as fire forms around them. She brings them to above her head and claps her hands together. The flames grow and engulf her, taking on the shape of a phoenix with its wings spread out before it ‘flies’ up in an arc and hits the ground, creating a violent firestorm that severely damages enemies.

Personality: Zoe has a very fiery and outgoing personality. She loves to be the centre of attention and to stand out in a crowd. She is considered by many to be a bit of a rebel because of her clothing choices and unruly behaviour. She loves to contradict people’s beliefs about her and see their reactions, no one ever expects her to be a prim and proper ballerina or a graceful dancer of any other kind when she always acts like a wild-child. She is a very messy person and has the attention span of a gnat, anything and everything can distract her. It isn’t unusual for her to start rambling on about something that she wasn’t even talking about.

Getting her to make sense for long periods of time just isn’t possible.

Her personality doesn’t change all that much while she is Sailor Phoenix. She becomes a little more focused, but she still gets distracted by things that aren’t important.
